The Beltline is a 22 mile loop of mostly abandoned rail-lines that is going to be used to change the City of Atlanta. It will bring together 48 diverse communities. It has transit, green-space, paths and trails. There is no other project like it in the country. It will provide Atlanta with about 1,300 acres of new green-space, a 22 mile loop of transit, 33 miles of trails, and generate about 5,600 workforce housing units. The Beltline will transform Atlanta both physically and spiritually. www.beltline.org
