Description: The Atlantic Northeast office of U.S. Realty Capital executed renovation financing for the Hotel Clarence in Seneca Falls New York. The firm coordinated the funding on behalf of two developers, Jake McKenna of Parsons McKenna Construction and Jay Bernhardt of JGB Enterprises, who specialize in rehabilitating historic buildings. The building, which is the former home of the Hotel Gould, will feature modern European décor and amenities while preserving the historic past of the building. The owners of the hotel, Bedford Falls Enterprises will also operate a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel.

NAI Friedland Realty completed the sale of an industrial property in the Parkchester section of the Bronx. The site is being converted into a lot for school buses and other vehicles. Peter Cokin, executive VP for NAI Friedland, was the exclusive broker for the contract vendee, Atlantic Development. The purchaser, Clarendon Holdings, was represented by Crosstown Realty.

According to mayor Michael Bloomberg and Silverstein Properties president & CEO Larry Silverstein, WestLB, a German financial institution, has signed a 15-year lease for office space on the top three floors of 7 World Trade Center. WestLB will move its N.Y. headquarters from its current Midtown location. A portion of the space will be dedicated to a trading area. WestLB was represented by Mark Weiss; Scott Klau and Robert Eisenberg of Newmark Knight Frank.

Jonathan Rose Companies, a green real estate development, planning, consulting and investment firm, in partnership with Lettire Construction, has broken ground for the development of Tapestry, the first-ever affordable and mixed-income residential rental development designed to LEED Silver certification standards in East Harlem. Local elected officials, community leaders and financing partners attended the groundbreaking ceremony held in Dream Street Park, adjacent to the construction site.
