Description: The construction of the Salem House located in Central Harlem at 2183 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd, is complete. Salem House is a $9.5 million, 60,000 s/f mixed-use facility. The construction was commissioned by the Salem United Methodist City Society and the Phipps Houses Groups, one of the nation’s largest non-profit developers. Salem House reflects a new trend in which religious institutions are developing their property to address community housing needs and to raise revenue. Other firms involved in the Salem House project were HLS Builders Corporation, Selnick/Hawrood Consulting, and LNPC Consulting

The Construction of Red Hook Commons has just been completed. Located in New York State, Red Hook Commons is an apartment complex for area seniors. It is located on Rte 9 and contains a total of 96 apartments, each equipt with an emergency call button, which provides seniors with 24 hour security. Red Hook Commons is being developed by Kearney Realty Group and Hudson River Housing. The Community Preservation Corp provided $8 million in loans.

The Sperry Van Ness National self storage team has completed the sale of a self storage facility for $2.25 million. The property is located at 1400 Campville Rd. in Endicott, New York. Thomas Ruthven, associate advisor and Nicholas Malagisi, national director of self storage for Sperry Van Ness represented the buyer, a self storage management group.
